His voice is a gift from God. Young and talented, Amine Hachem’s voice is carrying him to the heights of operatic performance in the United States. Born in Lebanon, Amine grew up quietly in the village of Jal Eddib in the Metn. At an early age, he was drawn to music and singing and studied opera at the Beirut Conservatory, before moving to Chicago to join his father. In between, he undertook musical studies in Italy and Germany.

Now, he has turned his sights to the captial of art and culture….New York. He will perform a concert in Manhattan on Sunday June 29, 2014 at 7:20pm, at the Church of Christ and St. Stephen (240 West 69th Street, New York). He will be joining a cast that will perform highlights of Guiseppe Verdi’s La Traviata.

On May 25, he will be performing in Virginia and on June 13 he will present another work for the benefit of the St. Jude Children’s Cancer Hospital, an institution founded by the famous Lebanese-American actor, Danny Thomas.
