Amine Hachem Receives BIAF 2026 Award in Beirut
Lebanese-American tenor and crossover artist Amine Hachem was honored at the 2026 Beirut International Awards Festival (BIAF), receiving an award in recognition of his artistic achievements, including his original work Ghannaki Al Qalb (غنّاكِ القلب) and the opera Antar and Abla (عنتر وعبلة), as well as his growing international career.
The ceremony took place in Beirut, where Hachem also performed his latest original work, Unādīka (أُناديكَ), bringing together his operatic roots and contemporary Middle Eastern musical identity.
The recognition marks another milestone in a career that has taken Hachem to stages including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the United Nations, and venues throughout North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
For Hachem, receiving the award in Lebanon carried particular significance, celebrating both his international work and his connection to his Lebanese heritage.
