Before transitioning to opera, Amine enjoyed a successful career in pop music for nine years. His breakthrough moment on the LBCI prime time program This is the Song in 2004, with a viewership of over 15 million people across the Arab world, solidified his status as a well-known artist in the Middle East. Today, he is especially renowned for his portrayals of leading tenor roles in the Italian and French romantic repertoire.

Amine’s operatic and crossover repertoire is diverse, spanning operatic arias (ranging from Donizetti to Verdi, Puccini, and Bizet), Neapolitan songs, Spanish, French, Brazilian, and Russian folksongs, American Songbook classics, Jazz Standards, Arabic Classics, and timeless Old Hollywood and Broadway masterpieces, all delivered in fresh and innovative arrangements.

As a lead tenor, Amine has showcased his talent in a wide range of operas and musicals, including La Traviata, Tosca, Carmen, La Bohème, I Lombardi Alla Prima Crociata, Mahler’s Symphony No. 8, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, Rachmaninov’s All Night Vigil, Ravel’s L’heure espagnole, Phantom of the Opera, Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Evita. Beyond his artistic pursuits, Amine actively supports charitable causes and service organizations worldwide. His philanthropic efforts include contributions to organizations like St. Jude, SOS Children’s Villages, Caritas Internationalis, Red Cross, Rotary International, Lion’s Club, and St. George’s Hospital. He received a trophy of recognition from the Lebanese Navy in 2011 for his musical performances and dedication to cultural heritage. In 2019, the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants honored him with an award of appreciation for his musical services.

Amine’s musical journey began at a young age, thanks to the support of his loving family. He started his musical studies at the age of five and joined the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music at age seven, where he received classical piano training until he turned 19. In 2009, he earned a vocal performance diploma from the Academy of Music and Theater in Munich, Germany (Musikakademie München). Amine is fluent in five languages: Italian, French, English, Spanish, and Arabic. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business Management from Notre Dame University. He continued to refine his craft through private tutoring from various operatic singers in the United States and Europe.

Beyond his stage performances, Amine is also known for his voice-over work, which includes voicing the Arabic version of Dr. T’s character in the popular game ’Boom Beach’. He has also appeared in TV shows such as Love and Opera, Amazon’s Dead Ringers, and was featured as a cameo in the film Ocean‘s 8. Amine has extended his reach to New York Fashion Week runways, adding a unique dimension to his career. His most recent acting role showcased him as the lead in a Disney short film titled Leaving Lebanon, and the role of Professor Westervelt in the upcoming Amazon period film The Blithedale Romance.

Additionally, Amine, alongside his brother Andrew, achieved recognition by winning the award for Best Music Video in 2019 at the New York International Film Festival, Winter Film Awards, and the Rome Music Video Awards for his first single, Abballati Abballati. This unique rendition breathed new life into an old Italian folk song, infusing it with a Middle Eastern twist.

Amine has also made notable appearances in various commercials, including Seven Deadly Zins, Philip Morris’ IQOS, JPMorgan Chase, and VIACOM. His commercial work has garnered attention and has been featured in prominent publications such as Vogue, Esquire, and Forbes Magazine.

His large-scale symphonic song Ghannaki Al Qalb, created with music director Brian Holman and featuring the Ukrainian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Kiev Opera Choir, and an Arabic choir from Lebanon, was released in Fall 2025 alongside a surreal concert film shot at Casino du Liban—a visual love letter to Arab heritage and unity. The release quickly reached number one on YouTube Music in Beirut, underscoring the work’s resonance both artistically and culturally.

In December 2025, Amine headlined the original Arabic opera Antar wa Abla in Abu Dhabi, portraying the title role while also serving as Executive Producer and Artistic Director. The production marked a decisive and groundbreaking step in bringing Arabic opera to the global stage, reflecting his broader vision of an Arab cultural renaissance—one that reclaims the region’s musical heritage and reintroduces it to the world with scale, ambition, and contemporary relevance.
